About Us.

Our mission is to be “surprisingly good” at what we do. Better than you’d expect from a village pub, quality food made from fresh ingredients in a welcoming environment with great service.

Our Restaurant, Bar and Terrace

Serving lovingly prepared food, cold beers and carefully selected wines.

We are an independent family owned business and a free house. Our Chef Patron Gavyn Willimer is responsible for food we serve with a passion for local, fresh seasonal produce.

We proudly serve Hawkstone Premium and Session lager, IPA and Cider as well as Timothy Taylor’s Landlord, Stella and Mahou on draught as well as a great selection of wines and spirits.

We want the Crown to be part of the community, so any suggestions, feedback or questions are gratefully received. Where we can, we employ local staff and buy local produce from local suppliers.
